CalPaleo 2007

CalPaleo 2007 will be held at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, April 27-29. CalPaleo is a conference primarily for graduate and undergraduate paleontology students enrolled in a California program, and is an excellent opportunity for students to interact with each other, and with attending faculty. Conference Luncheon: April 28, coincident with the plenary presentation. If you plan to attend the luncheon, please notify Peter in advance. Pay the fee (see below) in advance by cheque (payable to California Academy of Sciences), or at the time of the meeting.
Fee3: $7 (students), $12 (faculty)
Fieldtrip: April 29. Destination TBA.
Plenary speaker: Steve Wang, Swarthmore College: "Adjusting extinction rates for taxonomic susceptibility"

1 - The California Academy of Sciences Natural History Museum and Steinhart Aquarium will be open and available, after hours, for the reception. 

2 - The actual presentation schedule will depend on the number of abstracts submitted, and the number of oral and poster presentations requested.
